Sho is seen fighting with a local gang that terrorizes the nearby town, he defeats them rather quickly with his powers. And is joined by his pet Pii-tan a falcon, whom he have been friends with since childhood. Later as the gang resumes their activities and are driving recklessly through town, they are forcefully stopped by a T. rex. Though its appearance differs from a usual T. rex in that it looks like it has an armor. Even though it kills the gang, they are not his mission. Instead he is looking for a traitor who happens to be Shirin, who wields a Fairy armor. Sho finds him eventually face to face with Shirin who is as small as a fairy with her armor on, badly hurt. The T. rex goes by the name Tyranno and find Sho with Shirin and wastes no time and tries to stomp them to death. Pii-tan comes to the rescue and manages to draw Tyranno's attention away from Sho, who flees into a nearby house with Shirin.

In ancient times, the Titan Cronus (son of Uranus the sky and Gaia the earth) and his wife Rhea gave birth to six children. Five of them were swallowed by Cronus, and only one was saved, Zeus, hidden from Cronus by Rhea. Upon reaching adulthood, Zeus forced his father to vomit the other five gods. Zeus, along with his brothers and sisters, decided to battle the Titans for control of the universe. Cronus and the other eleven Titans lost the battle and were sent to Tartarus.
Thousands of years later, in Greece, the Pope visited the room of the recently reincarnated infant Athena, with a golden dagger.
Before he can kill her, the Gold Saint Sagittarius Aiolos saved her, and unmasked the Pope. Aiolos, horrified, fled. The Pope then declared him a traitor to the Sanctuary, and had Capricorn Shura murder him.
This caused his younger brother, Leo Aiolia, to grow under the shadow of his "traitor" brother, suffering from all manner of abuse and scorn.
It left him with a grudge against the Gold Saints and Sanctuary as a whole, which caused the Pope and most of the Sanctuary to distrust him.
To make things worse, the enemies of Zeus, the Titans, were revived and began to seek vengeance against him and the Sanctuary. This marked the start of Aiola's story and the battle of the Gold Saints against the Titans.

In 1990 (previously 1986, but Kurumada moved dates), in Elysion; the five Bronze Saints Seiya, Hyōga, Shun, Shiryū and Ikki, having wreaked havoc in the Underworld's army and succeeding in resurrecting the God Cloths, engage the god Hades in a final duel to the death.
During the battle, Hades remembers that he has seen Seiya's face before and comes to the conclusion that he faced him before. He thus starts reminiscing about his previous host body, and the story starts 247 years prior, in the 18th century.
The protagonist, the Pegasus Saint of this era, is an orphan who is best friends with a boy named Alone, the host of Hades. Saint Seiya: Next Dimension - The Myth of Hades, also known as simply Next Dimension, is an ongoing manga written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada. It is a prequel and continuation to his manga series Saint Seiya; placed during the previous "Holy War" between the deities Hades and Athena and their respective minions, the Specters and the Saints, during the 18th century in the franchise's fictional chronology. It is published by Akita Shoten in the weekly magazine Weekly Shōnen Champion at irregular dates. It is also known by its alternate subtitle Galaxy Myth (銀河神話 Ginga Shinwa?), which is used during publication to refer to the segments of the storyline set in the 20th century, as opposed to the Myth of Hades subtitle, which refers to the segments set in the 18th century.

A young girl was praying, a red balloon flies away... In a medieval-style village, a young girl trying to escape a soldier with three dogs. As she is about to be captured, the man's head explodes, and appears a mysterious young man holding a red balloon in hand. Before falling to the ground, the soldier's body is a hideous form and then disappears, and the three dogs were transformed into demons and rushed the young man who removes easily. The girl, Nana, asked his identity: he says his name is Maya, the Evil Crusher girl then tells his savior what happens in his village three months ago, an individual named Emiria came to town and built a church. This man was a miracle which attracted the sympathy and even the veneration of the villagers against him. However, without explanation, he demanded the sacrifice of seven young girls on the memorial of the gods. The sacrificed must be thirteen-years-old and the young girl who had been saved in part. The fathers of future victims went to show their anger at the church, but none came. After hearing this, the young man decided to go to this church to remove Emiria.
